Muravera administration outlines strategic goals through 2030

Mayor Francesca Mattana has presented the programmatic guidelines for the Muravera municipal administration, covering the period through 2030. A primary focus is the completion of the Feraxi-Capo Ferrato road, a long-standing infrastructure project where only one kilometer of the planned four has been paved since the late 1990s. The administration also plans to study a water pipeline for the Feraxi district.

Key urban and coastal objectives include the implementation of a Coastal Use Plan to provide clear regulations for seaside operators, alongside improvements to beach services such as public restrooms and foot-washing stations. Other priorities involve the San Giovanni seafront, restoring the historic center's paving, recovering the ‘Casa Bianca’, and enhancing connectivity with Costa Rei.

To combat illegal waste dumping, the administration intends to deploy video surveillance. Additionally, the Mayor addressed healthcare concerns, noting that the night closure of the San Marcellino emergency room has been averted, while continuing to seek regional support for local medical services.
