Murcia launches new equality distinction for regional companies

The regional government of Murcia has launched a new call for applications for the Equality Distinction of the Region of Murcia (DIERM). This recognition is awarded to organizations that demonstrate excellence in implementing equality policies among their staff, including improving working conditions, promoting work-life balance, preventing sexual harassment, and reducing the gender pay gap.

Eligible candidates include all companies, individuals, or legal entities with a registered office or workplace in the Region of Murcia. The application period runs from September 1 to September 30. Awarded companies receive an honorary certificate valid for three years, which they may use in commercial relations. Additionally, obtaining this distinction may be considered when applying for public subsidies or during the awarding of public contracts.
