Murcia Tax Agency creates onboarding manual for 36 offices

The Tax Agency of the Region of Murcia (ATRM) has developed a new onboarding manual designed to facilitate the integration of new staff across its 36 municipal offices. Developed in collaboration with the School of Training and Innovation of Public Administration (Efiap), the project was carried out between June and October 2026.

Twenty professionals from various departments, including Human Resources, Tax Management, Quality, and Comprehensive Taxpayer Service, contributed to the manual. The document outlines essential tasks, administrative procedures, and resources to ensure new employees can quickly adapt to their responsibilities. It is also intended to serve as a support tool for existing staff mentoring new colleagues.

According to ATRM Director General Eduardo Prieto, the guide aims to unify work criteria and ensure a homogeneous public service throughout the region. The initiative is part of a broader effort by the Ministry of Economy, Finance, Spokesperson, European Funds, and Digital Transformation to improve internal organization and taxpayer service.
