Murder charges filed in separate Alabama and Missouri shooting incidents
In separate incidents in the United States, individuals are facing murder charges following fatal shootings.
In Vernon County, Missouri, 22-year-old Joshua Janiszewski has been charged with second-degree murder, first-degree assault, unlawful possession, and armed criminal action. Authorities state that during a struggle over a firearm in Milo, Janiszewski tackled an armed man, causing the weapon to discharge and kill a third individual who had been attempting to disarm the shooter. Following the discharge, Janiszewski allegedly continued to attack the victim with a broom handle until law enforcement intervened. Janiszewski reportedly told investigators he had entered “survival mode” during the incident.
In Alabama, 19-year-old Keiondre Mosley has pleaded not guilty to murder charges related to the May 18 shooting death of 20-year-old Daniel Franklin on O'Donnell Street.
