Murder on the Orient Express to debut in Melbourne
Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express is set to make its Australian debut at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre in June 2027. The production, adapted by playwright Ken Ludwig, will precede a national tour.
Ludwig, who was commissioned by the Christie Estate, noted that his adaptation aims to capture a traditional version of the detective Hercule Poirot. The play follows the classic 1934 thriller where a murder aboard a luxury train turns all passengers into suspects.
