Murex releases debut electronica album ‘Inventio’

Swedish artist Murex has released her debut album, ‘Inventio’. The project draws inspiration from Johann Sebastian Bach’s ‘Interventions’ and features a fragile electronica sound characterized by complex layers of sound.

The album utilizes dynamic electronic beats and incorporates elements of classical music, folklore, and avant-garde pop. Murex employs her music for self-reflection, using varied vocal styles—ranging from lyrical soprano to bright, experimental tones—to navigate themes of identity and artistic purpose.
