Muriaglio di Castellamonte hosts health and literary events

The Società di Mutuo Soccorso Agricola e Operaia (Smsao) in Muriaglio di Castellamonte has announced several community events for autumn 2026.

On September 19, the organization will host “La giornata della Salute e della Prevenzione” (Health and Prevention Day). The morning session includes a practical Mass Training BLS-D course on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillator use in collaboration with the Italian Red Cross. The afternoon will feature specialized medical consultations with experts in cardiology, kinesiology, gastroenterology, psychotherapy, and ophthalmology.

Additionally, the Smsao is relaunching its “Territori d’autore” literary series. The program includes free afternoon meetings at the “ricetto” in Piazza della Fontana. The series begins on September 20 with a presentation on the cultural links between the ceramics of Castellamonte and the culinary traditions of Montalto Dora, followed by a presentation of the work “Aria Forte” by Marco Rolando on November 15.
