Murici: Two brothers killed in drug trafficking dispute

Two brothers, aged 15 and 16, were shot and killed in Murici during a targeted attack that missed its intended victim. The brothers, Gabriel Caíque de Morais Goes and Raí Daniel de Morais Goes, were killed at their family home on Saturday.

Police investigations suggest the killings were ordered due to a drug trafficking dispute involving the Comando Vermelho faction. The intended target, a local drug trafficker, was not at the residence at the time of the attack. The perpetrators reportedly executed the teenagers under the assumption that they were involved with the intended target.

A suspect has been arrested after confessing to driving the vehicle used in the crime. Authorities are currently searching for two other individuals identified as being present in the vehicle during the incident.
