Murilo Franco de Miranda competes for colonel promotion in Mato Grosso

Lieutenant Colonel Murilo Franco de Miranda, commander of the 7th Regional Command of the Mato Grosso Military Police (PMMT) in Tangará da Serra, is among 15 officers competing for five promotions to the rank of colonel.

The selection process, managed by the Officers' Promotion Commission (CPO), involves three candidates per available slot, with the final decision resting with the Government of Mato Grosso. Miranda currently holds the third position in the rankings with a score of 5.327.

The promotion ceremony is scheduled for September 3 at the Arena Pantanal in Cuiabá, as part of the 191st anniversary celebrations of the Mato Grosso Military Police. The event is expected to honor over 400 military police officers.
