Murshidabad police investigate disappearance of five teenagers
Police in West Bengal’s Murshidabad district have launched an investigation after five teenagers, aged between 13 and 15, went missing in the Domkal area.
The group of close friends reportedly left their homes in Srikrishnapur village on Friday to attend Jummah Namaz at a local mosque. However, family members discovered that none of the teenagers actually reached the mosque. After the youths failed to return home by late afternoon, families contacted the Domkal Police around midnight.
Authorities are currently investigating multiple possibilities, including whether the teenagers were kidnapped or if they left voluntarily, potentially in search of employment. Four of the missing youths are residents of Srikrishnapur, while the fifth is a resident of Kaliganj staying with relatives in the village.
