Mursko Središće celebrates successful ‘Ljeto uz Muru’ festival

The annual ‘Ljeto uz Muru’ (Summer by the Mura) festival in Mursko Središće concluded after a week of music, sport and family activities. Highlights included a free river descent, a city chess championship, a four‑day children’s pavilion, and a concert by Jelena Rozga that attracted several thousand visitors.

The final day featured a traditional fishing competition organized by the local sport fishing society, with the Mursko Središće team taking first place. Mayor Dražen Srpak publicly thanked municipal employees, cultural and sports associations, volunteers and emergency services for their work in delivering a well‑received community event.
