MUSA photographic project to debut at Lodi Ethical Photography Festival

The organization ResQ – People Saving People will present the photographic project ‘MUSA. Dare voce al silenzio’ at the Festival della Fotografia Etica in Lodi. The exhibition, running from September 26 to October 25, 2026, features 23 photographs by Daniela Borsari, Domenico Giberti, and Cesare Augello.

The images document artifacts held in the MUSA/LABANOF archive at the University of Milan, which serves as a University Museum of Anthropological, Medical, and Forensic Sciences for Human Rights. These items, including footwear, rosaries, documents, and photographs, belonged to migrants who died during crossings of the Mediterranean Sea.

The exhibition is structured into four sections: ‘Invocazione – La Musa e la Memoria’, ‘Tracce – Gli oggetti che parlano’, ‘Identità interrotte – Le storie’, and ‘Resti e Resilienza’. The project aims to provide a narrative focused on human rights and the memory of unidentified individuals, moving beyond statistical representations of migration.
