Turkish business leaders announce regional chamber candidacies

Various business leaders in Turkey have announced their candidacies for leadership positions in regional Chambers of Commerce and Commodity Exchanges.

In Van, İrem Bayram has declared her candidacy for the Van Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Van TSO). Her platform focuses on transforming Van into a logistics and distribution hub through projects like the ‘Merkez Van’ initiative, which aims to establish international transfer centers, cold chain infrastructure, and improved railway connections.

Fahri Yandık, President of the Çorum Auto Dealers Association, has entered the race for the Çorum Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He emphasizes a leadership model based on ‘common intelligence’ and aims to improve member representation and access to financing.

Musa Yılanlı has announced his candidacy for the Denizli Commodity Exchange (DTB). His vision includes digital transformation, the establishment of an accredited laboratory for agricultural quality control, and the modernization of livestock markets. He also intends to focus on domestic seed production to reduce imports.
