Muse Medical cosmetics recalled in Vietnam

The Drug Administration of Vietnam, under the Ministry of Health, has ordered a nationwide suspension, recall, and destruction of two cosmetic product batches produced by Muse Medical Co., Ltd.

The affected products include RECOVERY CELL CREAM (50g tube, batch QL148) and CELL SOLUTION SNOWFLAKES CELL under the Peptric brand (3ml x 10 bottles, batch J224).

The recall was initiated because the products contained formulas that did not match their registered documentation. Additionally, the product labels used terminology that could mislead consumers into believing the cosmetics were medicinal drugs.

Local health departments have been instructed to ensure businesses cease all sales and use of these batches immediately. Muse Medical is required to notify distributors, manage the return of products, and submit a destruction report to the Drug Administration by October 14, 2026.
