Museo Íbero enters final phase of permanent exhibition setup

The Museo Íbero in Jaén is entering the final stages of preparing its permanent exhibition. Supported by a four-million-euro investment from Feder Funds, the project involves the installation of audiovisuals, 3D-printed supports, and specialized vitrines.

The permanent collection, which is expected to open in the first months of 2027, will cover 3,240 square meters across seven thematic areas. It will feature nearly 2,000 pieces, including significant sculptural sets from Cerrillo Blanco and El Pajarillo. During this installation phase, the museum will only open for scheduled activities, though a special program of guided visits will be offered by reservation to allow the public to observe the musealization process.
