Museo Civico delle Cappuccine reopens with autumn 2026 exhibitions

The Museo Civico delle Cappuccine in Bagnacavallo is reopening to the public following system upgrades. The reopening marks the start of an autumn 2026 exhibition season focused on contemporary photography, painting, and ceramics.

The season begins in September and extends to various locations in the historic center, including the Ex Convento di San Francesco and the Chiesa del Suffragio. The inaugural exhibition, ‘In ponta d’pi. Officina romagnola’, is curated by museum director Davide Caroli and Silvia Loddo. This exhibition highlights the Romagnolo school of photography, using Guido Guidi as a central reference point alongside several other photographers.

Other scheduled events include a solo exhibition by Giovanni Ruggiero starting August 29, and Chiara Calore’s ‘Non voltarti adesso’ at the Ex Convento di San Francesco beginning September 19.
