Museo Civico in Viterbo nears reopening after renovations

The Museo Civico in Viterbo is nearing its reopening following the completion of renovation and safety works that began in 2024. The facility had been closed to the public since August 19, 2024, to allow for essential structural improvements.

To facilitate the reopening, the municipal government is finalizing staffing arrangements. Four employees will be assigned to the museum to handle support, surveillance, and public reception, while an additional unit will manage administrative tasks. The administration is also in the process of identifying a specialized professional to serve as the museum's director.
