Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil hosts new art installations

The Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil (MACG) in Mexico is hosting two art installations, ‘Aquí, otros cielos’ by Valentina Guerrero Marín and ‘En un estante, las termitas’ by Ana Bidart, available until October 11.

Guerrero Marín’s intervention transforms the museum terrace into a space for observing clouds and atmospheric transformations, stemming from a long-term investigation into landscapes and human-induced environmental changes. Ana Bidart’s work utilizes the museum's bookstore shelves to explore traces, residues, and minimal imprints.

Claudia Curiel de Icaza, Secretary of Culture for the Government of Mexico, stated that these proposals invite the public to look at their surroundings and daily memory through art.
