Museo do Mar de Galicia hosts Salvador Dalí engraving exhibition

The Museo do Mar de Galicia in Vigo has opened the 'Dante Dalí' exhibition, featuring approximately one hundred engravings by Salvador Dalí. These works were created for a special six-volume edition of Dante Alighieri’s 'The Divine Comedy', published between 1960 and 1964.

Inaugurated by Anxo M. Lorenzo, the Director General of Culture, the exhibition is a collaborative effort between the Xunta, the Museo do Gravado á Estampa Dixital, and the Societá Dante Alighieri de Vigo. The display also includes a dedicated space honoring the Galician writer Darío Xohán Cabana, recognized for his translation of 'The Divine Comedy' into the Galician language.

Visitors can explore the exhibition, which includes audiovisual content and a bibliographic collection of historical editions of Dante's work, until November 15.
