Museo Kaluz hosts first Alphonse Mucha exhibition in Mexico

The Museo Kaluz will host ‘Alphonse Mucha. La magia de la línea’, the first exhibition in Mexico dedicated to the renowned Czech Art Nouveau artist. Organized in collaboration with the Mucha Foundation, the exhibition is scheduled to run from October 8, 2026, to February 8, 2027.

The showcase features approximately 130 original pieces, including posters, lithographs, illustrations, drawings, and objects. Notable items include a historical advertisement designed by Mucha for Nestlé in 1897. Curated by Tomoko Sato and Elizabeth Brooke, the collection aims to trace the evolution of the ‘Mucha style’ and its impact on contemporary visual culture.

In addition to the physical works, the event includes an immersive digital experience titled ‘La magia del Art Nouveau,’ developed by Grand Palais Immersif and sponsored by Nestlé, which utilizes large-scale projections to expand the artist's graphic universe.
