Museum De Koperen Knop and Atelierroute de Beetse showcase local Dutch art

The Museum De Koperen Knop in Hardinxveld‑Giessendam concluded its Pintar Rapido painting competition on 6 June 2026. After a day of work in the Alblasserwaard, the jury awarded Maarten van Genderen first prize for his abstract piece, Gert van Kralingen second prize for "Molen" and Rebecca Kroon third prize for "De Giessen".

On the weekend of 1‑2 August 2026 the Atelierroute de Beetse and ter Borg took place near Sellingen. The two‑day open‑air art route featured 35 visual artists, five musicians and a theatre group across 15 sites, with the theme "Theatre". Visitors could view paintings, ceramics, photography, textiles, installations and live performances, and participate in a letter‑puzzle hunt for a prize.
