Museum Kruithuis launches Binnendieze photo contest; Zeeland exhibition features Stroo and Heijmans
Museum Kruithuis in ’s‑Hertogenbosch invites residents to submit photographs of the historic Binnendieze waterway for a competition marking the museum’s 40‑year celebration of navigation on the canal. The contest is open to all ages and skill levels; entries are displayed in an online gallery and a jury selects winners, while a public vote begins in week 31. Prizes include a professional dibond print, a family boat trip, an underwater camera, a champagne brunch, and other museum‑related experiences. Selected works will be shown in the museum as part of the anniversary exhibition.
In Middelburg, the De Drukkery gallery presents the free exhibition “Op zoek naar verstilling” by photographers Annelie Willemijn Stroo and Michiel Heijmans, running until 7 September 2026. The show focuses on quiet moments, light, and careful observation, encouraging visitors to slow down and notice details in everyday scenes.
