Museum Niederösterreich hosts future-focused exhibition

The Museum Niederösterreich is hosting an exhibition titled ‘United Nature Democracy (UND). Mutige Zukunftserzählungen für 2040–2100’, which explores potential future scenarios for how humanity might live, work, and coexist with nature.

Spanning approximately 2,500 square meters of the museum garden, the exhibition features 15 audio stations organized across five ‘future continents’. These narratives, covering themes such as democracy, health, technology, and agriculture, were developed through workshops with members of Generation Z and refined using generative artificial intelligence.

The exhibition also incorporates artistic works by Friedensreich Hundertwasser and Lois Weinberger, focusing on the relationship between humans and the natural world. The installation is scheduled to run until May 2027.
