Museum of the Future in Dubai features calligraphy facade

The Museum of the Future in Dubai is a distinctive architectural landmark located on Sheikh Zayed Road in the Trade Centre 2 district. Designed by architect Shaun Killa and the firm Killa Design, the building features a torus-shaped structure made of steel and glass that appears to float above a landscaped green hill.

Standing approximately 77 meters tall, the museum's facade is composed of over 17,000 square meters of stainless steel and glass. The exterior is characterized by a diagrid structure holding 1,024 uniquely shaped panels integrated with Arabic calligraphy. These panels feature quotes from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which appear as reflective surfaces during the day and illuminated ornaments at night.

The interior of the museum consists of multiple levels containing various exhibitions, laboratories, and event spaces organized along the building's curved form.
