French Military Administration document details post-war industrial release

Historical records from the Museum Schloss Sinzig document the economic administration in post-WWII Germany. A release certificate (Bon de Déblocage) issued on May 30, 1948, by the French Military Administration details the controlled distribution of industrial goods.

The document authorized the release of 6,000 square meters of stoneware tiles from a ceramics company in Sinzig for use by health departments in the Government of Greater Berlin. Such forms were essential for managing the scarcity of building materials and regulating industrial production during the Allied occupation and economic reconstruction period.
