Mushoku Tensei anime enters new Chaos Breaker arc

The anime series ‘Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation III’ has entered a new story arc titled the ‘Chaos Breaker arc’ following the broadcast of episode 8, ‘Sky Fortress’. The episode features the introduction of the Dragon King Perugius Dola and his floating fortress.

In this installment, Nanahoshi accompanies Rudeus and a group of companions to meet Perugius. The narrative introduces tension as the group encounters Silvaril, one of Perugius’s servants, who asks pointed questions regarding the name ‘Hitogami’. This reference evokes past trauma for Rudeus, as a previous careless answer to similar questions nearly resulted in his death.

Viewers have reacted positively to the visual depiction of the Sky Fortress and the return of characters like Armanfi, noting the scale of the animation and the progression of the overarching fantasy plot.
