Mushrif National Park opens new bridge for hikers and cyclists

Dubai Municipality has opened a new 102-metre bridge at Mushrif National Park to enhance safety and connectivity for outdoor enthusiasts. The structure features two dedicated lanes: one specifically for mountain bikers and another for hikers.

The bridge connects two previously separated sections of the mountain biking trail, allowing cyclists to complete a continuous 182-metre journey without needing to stop and cross roads used by vehicles. This development is part of a broader initiative by the Dubai Municipality to transform the park, which contains the city’s largest forest, into an integrated destination for adventure and active lifestyles.

Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, stated that the bridge provides a safer and smoother experience through the natural environment. Visitors can access the new trail connection via the Mushrif Hub.
