Mushroom festivals scheduled in Dadia and Polydroso, Greece

Two mushroom festivals are scheduled to take place in Greece during late October 2026.

The 16th Dadia Mushroom Festival will be held in the Dadia Forest on October 31 and November 1, 2026. The event features a mushroom and truffle identification seminar, a cooking class, and a musical performance by the Mandolinata Soufliou. The festival aims to highlight the region's natural wealth and promote local tourism.

In Thesprotia, the Polydroso Mushroom Festival is set for Sunday, October 25, 2026. Centered around the Church of Agia Paraskevi, the event includes forest walks to collect mushrooms, followed by identification sessions and discussions. Organizers will provide free mushroom soup and appetizers, accompanied by live traditional and art music.
