Mushroom harvest: Couple finds hundreds of mushrooms near Odolovy

A couple near Odolovy reported an extraordinary mushroom harvest, discovering hundreds of mushrooms during a routine walk. Monika Svítilová, who noted she had not seen such abundance in fifty years, shared that they preserved some for winter and distributed the rest to others in the community.

Mycologists confirm that September is a peak period for various species, including porcini, bay boletes, and chanterelles. The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ) indicates a high to very high probability of mushroom growth across northeastern Bohemia.
