Music by Jeremy releases Scenes from a Well Worn Path (Side Three)

Banbury-based multi-instrumentalist Music by Jeremy has released Scenes from a Well Worn Path (Side Three), the third installment of an ambitious four-part, 24-track double album project. This volume shifts focus from private, insular spaces toward the observations of public life and the town square.

The album utilizes a hybrid approach to technology, employing custom generative AI tools as an “arrangement prosthetic.” The artist trained an AI vocal model on his own voice samples and used AI for drums and lead guitar within Ableton, while maintaining human control over songwriting, acoustic guitar, and fretless bass arrangements.

Key tracks include “No Price on Earth,” an indie-pop song about the luxury of an uncomplicated day, and “Economic Possibilities for our Grandchildren,” which draws thematic inspiration from John Maynard Keynes and Macbeth. Other notable compositions include the romantic exploration “I Don’t Know” and the observational “Market Square.”
