Music Expo Live 2026 in Taipei features J-pop and K-pop artists

The Music Expo Live 2026 in Taipei took place at the Taipei Arena on October 25, marking the event's first overseas expansion. Following the cancellation of the first day due to Typhoon No. 30, the second day drew over 10,000 attendees to witness performances by ATEEZ, NCT WISH, Sakurazaka46, and &TEAM.

Japanese star Sho Sakurai served as the master of ceremonies, joined by a surprise appearance from Taiwanese superstar Lin Chi-ling. The lineup featured a mix of J-pop and K-pop talent, including a performance by &TEAM that included a cover of the song ‘Ishin Denshin,’ and a set by Sakurazaka46 that showcased contemporary dance elements.

NCT WISH also performed, with the group noting their upcoming solo concert in Taiwan. The event served as a cross-border musical exchange, bringing together major artists from Japan and South Korea for a large-scale production in Taiwan.
