Music festivals announced for Floreasca and Chișinău

The Floreasca district in Bucharest will host the inaugural Sound District Floreasca festival on September 11 and 12. The urban event features over 400 artists and more than 40 concerts held in Verdi Park and on streets named after famous composers. The program aims to bridge classical and modern music, including opera, jazz, alternative rock, and electronic sounds.

Key performances include a recital by the ‘Ion Dacian’ National Operetta and Musical Theatre, a symphonic concert by Robin and the Backstabbers, and appearances by the George Enescu National College Orchestra. Other scheduled artists include Golan, Irina Sârbu, Kadjavsi, and the Bucharest National Opera.

In Chișinău, the Love, Light & Music Fest 2026 is scheduled for September 19 at the Village Museum. This outdoor festival focuses on jazz, salsa, and folk beats, offering free admission to all visitors starting from 18:00.
