Music festivals announced in London and Vernon

The Great Escape music festival has announced the line-up for ‘FIRST FIFTY’, a live launch event for its 2027 festival. Scheduled for November 12, 2026, the event will feature 20 emerging artists performing across seven venues in East London, including Oslo, Moth Club, and Shacklewell Arms. The showcases will cover various genres such as indie, punk, pop, and electronic music.

In Vernon, Canada, the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Vernon & District will host the ‘Mind Over Music Mental Health Festival’ on September 26 at Polson Park. This event aims to combine live music with mental health education and creative expression. The festival includes free workshops on topics such as songwriting, community drumming, and mindful photography, alongside a full day of live musical performances.
