Music festivals Cooltural Fest and Contempopránea host indie performances

The ninth edition of Cooltural Fest has commenced in Almería with a performance by singer-songwriter Angie Sánchez at the Club de Mar. Sánchez performed tracks from her debut album, ‘Tiempo al Tiempo’, produced by Ricky Falkner. The festival organizers, Crash Music, noted that this year’s format includes two main stages and a third stage, Cupra, dedicated to emerging artists. The event emphasizes accessibility and inclusion, featuring inclusive artists and sign language interpretation.

Meanwhile, the Contempopránea festival in Alburquerque has also held its sessions, featuring a variety of indie and alternative pop acts. The event serves as a significant gathering for both local residents and the indie music community, providing a platform for both established and emerging artists to perform in a setting characterized by its historical backdrop.
