Music festivals feature roots and blues performances in Belgium and the Netherlands

Music festivals in Belgium and the Netherlands have showcased various roots and blues performances. At the Swing Wespelaar festival held in Wespelaar-Haacht, Belgium, the German band The See See Riders performed their first Belgian set in their current lineup, featuring a mix of blues, ragtime, folk, and swing using resonator guitars, violin, and contrabass.

In the Netherlands, the Culemborg Blues festival expanded its programming to include pre-festival events. The event featured performances by the house band, guest musicians such as Elsie Franklin and Roni Reeds, and a set by Greg Izor, which included a collaboration with harmonica players Robin van Roon and Thomas Toussaint.
