Music festivals in Portugal feature Paradise Lost and Dropkick Murphys

British metal band Paradise Lost is scheduled to perform at the Milagre Metaleiro Open Air 2026 on August 21 at Parque de Lazer das Cruzinhas in Pindelo dos Milagres, São Pedro do Sul. The band, which formed in Halifax in 1988, is noted for its influence on the European metal scene through albums such as ‘Lost Paradise’ and ‘Gothic’, the latter of which became a reference for gothic metal by blending doom and death metal with dark melodies.

Meanwhile, the second day of the CA Vilar de Mouros 2026 festival concluded with a headline performance by the American band Dropkick Murphys. The group delivered a high-energy set characterized by a blend of punk rock and traditional Irish music influences, closing out a day that featured various genres including punk, ska, rock, and electronic music.
