Music festivals scheduled in Mestre and Ferrara

Various musical performances are scheduled in Italy as part of regional festivals. In Mestre, the Festival delle Due Città will feature harpist Floraleda Sacchi, a Latin Grammy winner, performing a program inspired by Japanese musical imagery at the Centro Candiani auditorium on October 9. This will be followed on October 10 by French musician Christian Lavernier, who will perform with a 11-string thiorbata guitar as part of the Contemporary Future project.

In Ferrara, the 28th edition of Ferrara in Jazz will host Brazilian singer Mônica Salmaso at Torrione San Giovanni on October 9. Performing ‘Alma Lìrica Brasileira’ alongside Teco Cardoso and Nelson Ayres, Salmaso will present a repertoire ranging from Heitor Villa-Lobos to the works of Tom Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes, blending classical and popular Brazilian music.
