Music festivals see major activity in Germany with Summer Breeze sell-out and Bayreuth techno premiere

The Summer Breeze Open Air festival has announced that tickets for its 2027 anniversary edition in Dinkelsbühl are already completely sold out. This marks the first time in the festival's history that a total sell-out has been achieved this early. The 30th-anniversary lineup already includes 63 confirmed bands, such as Electric Callboy, Edguy, Halestorm, and the Summer Breeze Legends & Orchestra.

In Bayreuth, the inaugural Kreuzer Open Air event took place at the Kreuzsteinbad outdoor pool. The event, which featured a three-hour set by techno legend Sven Väth, was designed as a more intimate and green alternative to larger local festivals. Attendance was limited to 5,000 guests for safety reasons, with other performers including Marek Hemmann and Cinthie.
