Music on the Peaks International Festival continues in Kościelisko

The International Music on the Peaks Festival (Muzyka na Szczytach) is currently taking place in Kościelisko. The program features a variety of musical performances, including exhibitions by regional creators and showcases for music school students from Nowy Targ, Kraków, Bochnia, and Katowice.

Key upcoming performances include the Liminal Quartet, which will perform Erich Korngold’s string quartet. Additionally, the group Kwartludium will present contemporary music from the Faroe Islands. The festival will conclude on Saturday, September 12, with a performance by the National Wind Orchestra from Lublin at the Municipal Cultural Center in Nowy Targ, featuring a symphonic repertoire and the promotion of the first Polish album written for wind ensembles, ‘Symfonia Dźwięków’.
