Music scene in Córdoba features Cultura Profética and Mati Rojas

The reggae group Cultura Profética performed at Quality in Córdoba, featuring an eleven-piece ensemble that blends reggae with soul, jazz, funk, and dub. Led by vocalist and bassist Willy Rodríguez, the band performed tracks from their new album, ‘En Bucle’, including ‘Camanance’, ‘De Tope Al Fondo’, ‘Para estar’, and ‘Dame Luz’. During the set, Rodríguez expressed gratitude to the audience for their support despite the challenges of attending.

Additionally, Cordoban artist Mati Rojas is scheduled to present his debut album, ‘Simple y natural’, at Studio Theater in Córdoba on November 21. Rojas, who was recognized as a revelation at the Jesús María Festival 2025, produced the work with Jorge Rojas. The album explores themes such as natural resource defense, love, and social justice, drawing inspiration from artists like Víctor Jara and Bob Marley.
