Music teacher dies in fatal car accident in Amasra

A fatal traffic accident in the Amasra district of Bartın, Turkey, has claimed the life of Cansu Kocakurt, a 35-year-old music teacher. The accident occurred when a vehicle driven by H. K. lost control near the Amasra Tunnel exit and struck a retaining wall before overturning.

Kocakurt, who had become a mother only three months prior, was transported to Bartın State Hospital but succumbed to her injuries despite medical efforts. Her three-month-old baby, U. M. K., was also seriously injured and remains in intensive care. The driver, H. K., was also injured in the crash.

Following official procedures, Kocakurt’s funeral was held in her hometown of Karabük. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the vehicle losing control.
