Musica Sacromontana Festival performs Handel at the Basilica

The XXI Musica Sacromontana Oratorio Music Festival continued its second day at the Basilica of the Holy Mountain. The evening featured George Frideric Handel’s oratorio, ‘Il trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno’ (The Triumph of Time and Disillusionment).

The performance was delivered by the Capella Regia Polona Early Music Ensemble, accompanied by soloists and conducted by Krzysztof Garstka in his conducting debut. Festival director Father Jakub Przybylski noted that the event maintains a tradition of blending high-quality music with spiritual and intellectual depth, drawing inspiration from the heritage of Saint Philip Neri.
