Musical actress Kim Sun-young mourns the passing of her father

Musical actress Kim Sun-young is mourning the passing of her father, who died on August 30 at the age of 91. Her husband, fellow musical actor Kim Woo-hyung, announced the news via social media, noting that the funeral will be held privately as a family service in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province.

Due to the bereavement, the casting schedule for the musical ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ has been adjusted. The production company, S&Co, announced that actress Shin Young-sook will replace Kim for the performance scheduled for September 1. Kim is expected to return to the stage on September 3.
