Musical and organ performances scheduled across Germany

Various musical and organ events are scheduled across Germany, featuring diverse performances ranging from experimental improvisation to classical recitals.

In the Cologne region, several concerts are planned for late August. On August 21, organist Annie Bloch and cantor Samuel Dobernecker will perform an experimental improvisation concert using two organs and electronic effects at the Reformationskirche Bayenthal. On August 22, the Salon-Ensemble Petersberg will provide music for an evening service at the Evangelische Lukaskirche Brüggen. The following day, Burkhard Ascherl will perform organ works by Bach and Mozart at the Altenberger Dom, while Duo Mélange will present flute and marimbaphon music at the Christuskirche Brühl.

In Bad Reichenhall, the Evangelische Stadtkirche hosted an immersive organ night designed to engage multiple senses. The event combined organ music with light displays, visual projections, and culinary elements, including the scent of fresh pizza. Guest organists Paul Tarling, Alexander Rebetge, and Markus Stepanek performed various programs, including jazz-influenced pieces and classical works, presented through a unique musical menu concept.
