Musical artists prioritize romantic ballads and traditional styles

Several musical artists are expressing a commitment to romantic ballads and traditional musical styles despite shifting industry trends toward urban rhythms and frequent collaborations.

Spanish singer David Bisbal announced his new album, Eternos, which features reinterpretations of classic songs from the 1970s and 1980s. The project includes works by artists such as José José, Juan Gabriel, and Camilo Sesto. Bisbal noted that he chose to avoid collaborations and pre-programmed elements, opting instead for organic arrangements to honor the legacy of romantic pop.

Similarly, the Mexican group El Trono de México stated they will continue focusing on the duranguense sound and romantic songs. Vocalist Everardo Ávila explained that while they are open to musical fusions or collaborations, they will not record full albums in different genres. The group aims to maintain the musical identity that has established their connection with their audience, including younger listeners.
