Musical developments and new training hubs emerge in France

Musical developments are taking place in France, including a new training and production hub and upcoming performances. In Saint-Michel, a tripartite convention involving the municipality, the Association for the Development of Musical Activities in Aisne (ADAMA), and the Friends of the Abbey is being established to create a new musical pole for training, production, and distribution.

This initiative follows a recent organ and harpsichord academy focused on the Couperin family of baroque musicians, which hosted students from various conservatories, including Paris, Limoges, and Zagreb. The academy concluded with a concert at the abbey church attended by approximately sixty music enthusiasts.

Additionally, the Muchachorns Quartet, a group of four Venezuelan musicians, is scheduled to perform a free concert at Le Cube music school in Remiremont on October 14, 2026. The performance will focus on the diverse sounds and nuances of the French horn.
