Musical events and regional performances scheduled in the Netherlands

Various musical events and presentations are scheduled in the Netherlands. At De Perifeer in Deventer, an underground program will feature the book presentation of Jaap Blonk’s ‘Koffiedikkijken’ in collaboration with Petrichor. The event includes performances by the duo Savić & Reona, who combine tap dance and saxophone with found metal objects, and the duo of Jaap Blonk and Terrie Ex, known for blending Dadaist unpredictability with punk rock energy.

Additionally, the DRU Popzaal will host ‘SPÖL ’S PLAT! LIVE’ on November 6, focusing on regional dialect music. The concert features young musicians Valz, Ulkennüs, and singer-songwriter Timo van de Sande, who participated in a coaching program to develop new songs in local dialects. The event includes various styles ranging from acoustic numbers to country and rock, and will be preceded by a discussion regarding regional music lyrics at Muziekcafé Oerend Echt.
