Musical events announced in Corigliano-Rossano and Verona

Various musical events are scheduled across Italy, including the 21st edition of “La Città della Musica” in Corigliano-Rossano. On October 17, 2026, the duo of soprano Elvira Maria Iannuzzi and pianist Francesco Del Fra will perform “Scherzi e segreti. Tra opera e salotto” at the Centro Studi Musicali “Giuseppe Verdi”. The concert aims to explore the intimate and private musical lives of 19th and early 20th-century Italian composers, featuring works by Rossini, Donizetti, Bellini, Tosti, Verdi, Puccini, and Leoncavallo.

In Verona, the Società Amici della Musica is launching its 116th concert season. The program focuses on bridging the gap between classical music and younger audiences by pairing established artists with high-quality young performers. The season opens on October 20 at the Sala Maffeiana with Giovanni Gnocchi and the Solisti di Zagabria, followed by performances by the Trio Bohémo, Ifan Wu, Tommaso Benciolini, Lorenzo Gugole, and pianist János Balázs.
