Musical events for children and songwriters announced in Italy

Various musical initiatives focused on children and songwriting are taking place in Italy. As part of the Meeting degli Indipendenti (MEI), an event titled ‘Scrivere per lo Zecchino d’Oro’ will be held on October 3 at the Galleria della Molinella in Faenza. The session aims to explore the creative process behind the songs of Zecchino d’Oro, featuring authors Antonio Buldini, Benedetta Lamanna, and Gemma Giusti. The meeting will also introduce a new collaboration project between MEI and Zecchino d’Oro.

In Sardinia, the musical series ‘La musica che gira in tondo’ returns to the Teatro Massimo in Cagliari, running from September 20 to December 13. Produced by Medinsard under the artistic direction of Francesca Romana Motzo, the program is designed for families with children aged zero to six. The series includes diverse musical styles and will also expand to Guspini, featuring various ensembles such as Trio Iskraria, Mistery Tour, and Aérokorda.
