Musical events scheduled for November 1 in Hellum and Ellecom

Several musical performances are scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 1, in the Netherlands.

In Hellum, the Kunst- en Cultuurhuis De Ent will host a music afternoon featuring two ensembles. Duo Perceval Grace, consisting of singer Durkje Hoff and guitarist Wil Emmerink, will perform a program titled ‘De muziek achter de noten,’ focusing on Irish, English, and Frisian traditional songs. Following a break, Trio Tournesol—comprising Ina Ernsten and Hans Nieuwenhuis, accompanied by Wil Emmerink—will perform Dutch chansons by artists such as Ramses Shaffy and Jacques Brel.

In Ellecom, the music associations Excelsior Ellecom/De Steeg and Eendracht Nieuw-Wehl will join forces for a film concert at the village hall. Led by conductor Mark Golub, the combined fanfare orchestra will perform themes from various films and television series, including Game of Thrones, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Pink Panther. Both events are free to the public.
